LOVE IS FOR LATER | By Ayo Sogunro

No hard feelings”, she said, “just being real
And walked off with a heart I thought was mine.
The love I fought so hard to steal
Is now the missed calls at her end of the line.

I stumbled all day in a hazy whirl
Every “Reject” tone was a stab in the gut.
The mind is a sucker for a runaway girl
My brain was a partner in the heartbreak plot

You can say I goofed, I played the limit
But the damage she’s doing is even greater
I have my quirks, but that’s why we fit!
I’m all done now, love is for later.
